White Chocolate Peppermint Green Tea Fudge

White chocolate fudge with peppermint and Kitkat matcha wafer fingers.
Ingredients
Fudge
  • 3 cups (540 g) white chocolate chips
  • 14 ounces (390g can) sweetened condensed milk
Mix-ins and Toppings
  • 16 Kit Kat Green Tea (or Matcha) wafer fingers, chopped
  • peppermint candies, crushed
Instructions
  1. Line 8x8 baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper (I use nonstick parchment paper) leaving an overhang on the sides so we can easily lift the fudge later. Lightly grease or spray with oil. Wipe any excess oil with paper towel.
  2. Combine sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate chips in a medium heatproof bowl. Set aside.
  3. Fill saucepan with water (about ¼ full) and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer. Place the heatproof bowl on top of the saucepan. The mixture will be very thick so use a sturdy spatula in mixing. Stir the ingredients until the white chocolate chips has melted and the mixture is completely smooth. Remove bowl from saucepan.
  4. Fold the chopped Kit Kat to the mixture. Pour into the prepared pan and smooth the surface with the spatula.
  5. Sprinkle top with crushed peppermint candies and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Once set, lift the fudge from the pan using the overhang. Remove the foil/parchment. Transfer to a cutting board and cut into small squares.
  7. Keep leftovers in a covered container in the fridge.
